Our Custom Moulding Process
Moulding Profile: The process begins when you bring in your existing moulding profile. Whether you have a piece of the original or a detailed drawing, we will use it as a reference.
Custom Moulder Head: To recreate your custom moulding, we’ll take a sample of the profile and have a moulder head made specifically for your project.
Shaping & Milling: Once the moulder head is ready, we use a shaper to mill your moulding out of the material of your choice. You can select from MDF or solid wood, depending on the style and functionality you desire.
No Minimum Order: We understand that sometimes you only need a few pieces, which is why we have no minimum order requirement. You can order as little as one length of custom moulding—simply bring in your profile, and we'll take care of the rest.

We get asked this a lot! Here's a breakdown of the costs involved in producing your custom moulding:
Moulder Head: $800–$1,200, depending on the complexity of the profile.
Machine Setup: $175.
Shop Time: $145 per hour.
Material Costs: Based on your selection of MDF or solid wood.
